Book an Appointment
Before booking, please review this important information.
1. We direct bill to over 25 benefit providers, but each benefit plan is unique. Prior to booking, we recommend that you contact your benefit provider to determine your coverage. Be sure to let your benefit provider know the credentials of the therapist you want to work with (not every credential is covered by every benefit provider). To check each therapist’s credentials, click on their photo and read the note that appears under the photo. Family mediation services are not eligible for direct billing.
2. If this is your first appointment, please book an Initial Assessment. If you can’t find an available appointment, scroll to the bottom of the page and click add yourself to the wait list. When an appointment becomes available, you will be notified via email and text message.
3. If you’ve been with us for a while, please book a 60-Minute Session or 90-Minute Session. If you can’t find an available appointment, scroll to the bottom of the page and click add yourself to the wait list. When an appointment becomes available, you will be notified via email and text message.
4. If you’re booking Family Mediation, please note that one-on-one appointments are billed at the full rate of $250.00/hour. When both parties attend family mediation, the session fee is split 50/50 at $125.00/per person (unless otherwise agreed upon by the parties). Be sure to select the appointment that best meets your needs.
5. To book an appointment, you must provide a valid credit card. We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, please provide at least 48-hours notice. We send reminders 72-hours in advance to ensure you have plenty of time to cancel your appointment without penalty. Late cancellations and no-shows will incur the full session fee.
Welcome to Boreal Therapy Collective!
Family Mediation
The process of divorce and legal separation can be emotionally, logistically, and financially challenging, particularly when children are involved. Family mediation offers people who are separating an alternative to litigation (where each person typically retains a lawyer). Unlike the traditional courtroom setting, family mediation fosters open communication, collaboration, and mutual decision-making, aiming to prioritize the well-being of both parties and any children involved. By engaging in family mediation, both parties work with a family mediator to craft personalized, sustainable solutions for life post-separation or divorce. Upon reaching an agreement, our family mediator can help you prepare and file court documents for presentation at court, where a judge can issue a formal court order.
Note: If you’re booking Family Mediation, please note that one-on-one appointments are billed at the full rate of $250.00/hour. When both parties attend family mediation, the session fee is split 50/50 at $125.00/per person (unless otherwise agreed upon by the parties). Be sure to select the appointment that best meets your needs. Please note that, dependant on relationship dynamics between parties, the Family Mediator may request one-on-one appointments to ensure safe and successful mediation.
